Mr. Johnson has spent many years actively involved in the martial arts. Before beginning his training under Sensei Ounkham at Okinawan Martial Arts, he practiced Tae Kwon Do and American Kenpo Karate. He received the rank of Nidan (2nd Degree Black Belt) from Okinawan Martial Arts and Nidan (2nd Degree Black Belt) in Kobudo.
Mr. Johnson teaches Junior, Youth and Adult classes. He possesses the ability to make those classes fun and engaging while pushing each student to do their absolute best. He loves the opportunity to share his excitement and passion for the martial arts with everyone who enters the Dojo.
When he is not teaching or training he is a full-time employee at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. He holds numerous certifications in First Aid, Adult and Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Trauma Resuscitation and Life Support. Mr. Johnson is a husband and father of two sons who each earned Black Belts at Okinawan Martial Arts including Aiken Johnson-Escudero who is also an instructor.
